EnCap Flatrock Midstream Announces the Promotion of Thomas J. Waldrip and J. Zachary Kayem to Vice President

SAN ANTONIO – February 3, 2015 - EnCap Flatrock Midstream is pleased to announce the promotion of Thomas J. (“Tommy”) Waldrip and J. Zachary (“Zach”) Kayem to vice president effective January 1, 2015. Mr. Waldrip and Mr. Kayem provide finance, administrative and accounting support to EnCap Flatrock Midstream’s funds and portfolio companies. As vice presidents, they will also help recruit new management teams to join the firm’s portfolio of midstream companies.

Their deep understanding of our business model, methods and practices and their strategic recommendations are highly valued at our firm. We are excited to have them assuming new roles and taking on increased responsibilities at EnCap Flatrock,” said Billy Lemmons, one of EnCap Flatrock’s three managing partners.
Tommy Waldrip joined Flatrock Energy Advisors in 2008 and has significant experience in midstream evaluation and economics. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in business administration from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society and the National Energy Services Association.
Prior to joining the firm in February 2012, Zach Kayem spent three years as an analyst on the corporate finance team at SWS Group, where he focused on debt and equity raises and M&A advisory work in multiple industries. Mr. Kayem holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honors in finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a member of Young Professionals in Energy.
